Kuan Yin Temple Feast
Kuan Yin temple is normally congested with thousand of devotees burning their joss sticks on the full moon of the 1st and 15th day of the Chinese lunar month.
On the three enlightenment days of Kuan Yin, the 19th day of the 2nd, 6th and 9th Chinese lunar month, the whole temple is packed with devotees and visitors who turn up not only for worship but also to join in the celebrations and to watch puppet and Chinese opera shows
which are staged on the temple's open grounds.

We have visited Penang heritage which is kuan yin temple in the early morning during the first day of the chinese lunar. As we know, kuan yin temple is one of the most popular temples among the Chinese taoist community of Penang. It is also the oldest temple in the Penang.
There are many stalls that sell different types of incense, flowers and candles around the temple.
The beggars are lining up there for begging some food and money.
